Brown in the live-action segments of Back to the Future: The Animated Series (1991–1993). It was on one of the episodes where Bill corrected Doc Brown on the correct pronunciation of Gigawatt (Not Jigawatt). Doc Brown fired back with a question "What are you, Bill Nye the science guy?" and it was here that a legend was born."

A really fucking weird thing has happend to me (which is not uncommon)

A weird thing happend to me.

So I was accepted to this really good liberal arts college, Grinnell (claims to fame: Herbie Hancock went there, Newsweek's Best-All-Around College on the Hottest Colleges for 2005 list). With the acceptance letter they also sent an invitation to a "reception" for admitted students- a chance to visit the school.

So while I was at school my Mom called and registered a spot for me for this reception just in case I decided to go. She told the woman who answered that she was registering for "Christopher Davies". The woman responded with "which one?". When my Mom told me this I was shocked: "They admitted TWO Christopher Davies's?!?". My Dad heard me and said "No they didnt accept two". I thought "oh, they must have duplicate files on me" after I heard my dad say that. I was relieved, briefly. My mom looked at me and said "they admitted three".

THREE!?!?! WHAT THE FUCK?

This is mind boggling.... How can three Chistopher Davies's be admitted to the same college, the same year? A worse thought is if these guys applied to Grinnell they may have applied to some of the other schools I applied to. How could they admit THREE people with SAME NAME? Are they using Affirmative Action quotas or something? Did they require three Christopher Davies' in order to gain a certain amount of diversity?

How could I go to a school, a small one at that, when someone else has my name? I can handle multiple Christophers, I can handle multiple Davies's (unless they are unrelated to me, than I just barely handle it), but I cannot handle two Christopher Davies's. Its impossible. It will create mucho confusion. I will lose all sense of an identity.

God, this is insane. Shit like this happens to me all the time, and it is really fucking funny, but at the same time it is terrible. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

For his spring break my brother is in Paris right now (where all the student riots are happening, in case you don't read/listen to/watch the news). He said that he was in the Latin Quarter and saw the Parisian Police barricading the doors of the Sorbonne (the Oxford of France; its where many of the rioters go to school). This spawned a thought of mine: no one in the U.S. has the balls to riot about anything anymore. And so much stupid shit has happend that would merit at least small-scale rioting.

In the wise words of Tim "Lint" Armstrong: "I wanna riot".
