Anything worthwhile, that is robust and resilient, that is the object of my material desires.
    Sometimes alright without compsure.
Groom my mane, I need stability.
Russell's death and hypnotically driving back from Birmingham, help place me in a daze of the dreams that haunt and please me
One hundred cookies eaten by my dead friend; The smells of beauty and attraction following me home like a stray and lonely imaginary friend, but so vivid and true
A lucid dream that insists that its not and the borders between what is and isn't seem to fade
Nothing is more dreamy than rolling around in the grass or being given condolences
If I were ever able to handle important things in my life, I could handle each of you
But together, you dead - you kissingly alive, together you confuse the fuck out of me
    This town is too hot.

I just drank about five glasses of water for dinner. I chewed the ice too.
I figure I'd put something here to entertain you (i.e any of the people that still check their LJ friends page) instead of doing what I should be, namely working (I've put it off this far), studying (never!), packing (so much shit), secret missions (it involves the letters "w" and "o" and "o").

So here is a photo of a Rubik's Cube:

and here are some photos from the Andrew Bird show Saturday night at Herrick Chapel, Grinnell College:

I can die happily now that I know this: "Bill Nye was also the assistant of Dr. Emmett L. Brown in the live-action segments of Back to the Future: The Animated Series (1991–1993). It was on one of the episodes where Bill corrected Doc Brown on the correct pronunciation of Gigawatt (Not Jigawatt). Doc Brown fired back with a question "What are you, Bill Nye the science guy?" and it was here that a legend was born."

Apologies to everyone I was not able to visit while back in Atlanta. I still love you.

Perhaps I'll see everyone else while back home on my winter break.

    habla ma

So I spent several days with this one girl.
Things were amazing. We both thought so.
She then called it off, put the brakes on our futures.
    I don't know why.
    Oh darn.
What is LiveJournal for but to write emo-ish things?
    Poop.
Intensity is even more intense when its compacted into a short period of time.

I have been at Grinnell College for a week now.
    I've met many-a-neat people here.
Still trying to find my niche, though I intend on not losing my niche back home.
Eat Your Face Records now has a website: http://www.eatyourfacerecords.com.
    There's not much on there.
I'd like to tell you about what I have been doing for the past week, but I don't remember it all.
    I am enjoying myself, however.
I'll offer up a much more eloquent and verbose perspective upon my frame of life later.
I'll offer up some pictures instead. They may take a minute to load though. Melvin doesn't have a lot of bandwidth )

    We don't say "good-bye"
we say "see you later, aligator".
    We don't say "farewell",
we say "in a while, crocadile".

I am leaving Atlanta for the next few months, I'll be at Grinnell College.
It is beginning to hit me, I believe.
I wish I could have said bye to more people, spent time with more people. But I'll be back.
I'll still be availble via the internet and my cell phone (at the moment I can't get text message, tis a mystery).

    Due to a severe miscalculation...
I am leaving for college a day earlier than I thought (Thursday instead of Friday). So, I guess, if you wanted to see me one last time before I go to Iowa for 4 months then you are going to have to see me tomorrow.

Often it is difficult to describe what one yet much easier to describe what one isn't.
    An illustration
This is certainly not how I am feeling:

But one day, I shall proclaim "Let the wild rumpus begin!"
But for now, something entirely different...

    I've been bored
    ---

    upside down, make me drown
man's sky is radiation blue ambience
a grand scheme designed for the matter of looking up
the lovegazer, the drowning scholar of self-conscious immersion
his is the hallucination of self-deprecation
so fall up fall up fall up

radiate your blue ambience spreading over a water-damaged ceiling
    monochrome moisture collecting in clumps,
    colored just for Yukon Cornelius
but maybe this is it, that drip drip drip
continually fucking her for the conception of Cronus
so fall up fall up fall up

the immortal front side, snowy silver hair
threesome of man and god and goddess, a warm jovial blanket
bleeding that radioactive blue ambience, a naked pastel
sought but never found, only occasionally glanced at
the pupil constricts for pain, a sight for the lovegazer
so fall up fall up fall up into it

    ---

I went a secret club in Athens called the Secret Squirrel. It was pretty cool. Got to see Marshmallow Coast, Doug Gillard, and The Late B.P. Helium perform. Present there were a handful of people in other Elephant 6 bands, most notably Of Montreal. Rancid is this Tuesday, Athens Pop Fest in August with The Mountain Goats (on the 10th), Apples In Stereo, and Circulatory System (Both on the 11th).

I am back in Atlanta tomorrow, around 1:00 PM. I've already made plans to go see Clerks 2 and then drive to Athens to see The Late B.P. Helium. Let me know if you wanna tag along.

As it so happens, I got to go see the Upright Citizens Brigade while in New York.

And this guy ----^ went to Grinnell.

    Georgey george got a loop-de-loop
He'd never been quite so happy
George always had a handle, always had the scoop

    Shaved him like his head
    Marcus was a regular Sieg-heiler

I camped out in front of school today
but then around 7:30 Officer Stanley told us pack up our camp and leave.
    X-Men 3 was terrible.

    I am looking foward to
my escapade to the Bonnaroo Music Festival
    my excursion to England
    filming "Less Than Three"
working with bucky to use analog cassette tapes as digital storage media
    Possibly going to Washington, D.C.
    Possibly going to Chicago
    Clerks 2.
    Doing stuff
    yup.

    Then I go to college.
